Data we collect
MUNIS stores your account profile (name, email, institution), speech and committee session content you submit, coaching analyses, training history, and performance ratings. Audio and video uploads are stored in private cloud storage.
AI processing
When configured, MUNIS sends content to third-party AI providers for analysis. You can use transcript-only mode without audio AI if your deployment omits API keys.
- OpenAI — Whisper transcription for audio/video and text embeddings for semantic memory search.
- Anthropic — speech coaching, debate/procedure/negotiation labs, and document analysis.
Do not submit content you are not permitted to share with these providers. Enterprise deployments may disable external AI.
Hosting and other service providers
We use third-party infrastructure providers to run MUNIS: Supabase (authentication, database, and file storage), Vercel (website hosting), and Railway (API and background job hosting). We send account-related email (verification, password reset) through Resend or, where configured, a Zoho Mail SMTP account. These providers process data on our behalf to operate the service.
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate site usage. It is designed by Vercel to operate without cookies and without persistent visitor identifiers.
Retention
Session analyses and memory records are kept while your account is active. Deleting your account in Settings permanently removes your profile, session history, and stored recordings from our systems.
Your rights
You can export your data from Settings, email support@munisdelegate.com for help, adjust rankings visibility, delete uploaded media, and permanently delete your account and associated data at any time.
Security
Traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Passwords are hashed by Supabase Auth. API access requires authentication. Production may use HttpOnly session cookies instead of browser localStorage tokens.
